These Terms & Conditions apply to all vehicle rentals provided by Mansa Car Rental, operated under Mansa Group NV, registered in the Republic of Suriname.

Customer / Renter: The individual or entity renting a vehicle

Vehicle: Any motor vehicle rented under this agreement

Rental Period: The agreed duration of the rental

Deposit: Refundable security amount paid prior to rental
3. Scope & Applicability
These Terms & Conditions apply to all reservations, rentals and agreements made via the website, email, phone, WhatsApp or in person.
By making a reservation or renting a vehicle, the Customer confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
4. Reservations & Confirmation
All online reservations are subject to availability and do not constitute a final confirmation.
Mansa Car Rental will confirm availability within 24–48 hours after receipt of a reservation request.
A reservation becomes binding only after:

written confirmation by Mansa Car Rental and/or
-
issuance of an official invoice.
5. Rental Rates & Taxes
All rates displayed on the website are exclusive of 10% turnover tax (VAT).
Applicable taxes and additional charges will be clearly shown during the reservation process and on the official invoice issued via QuickBooks.
Prices may vary based on vehicle class, rental duration, seasonality and availability.
6. Payment Methods
Accepted payment methods include, but are not limited to:

Cash

Bank transfer (IBAN)

Wise

Other methods as communicated by Mansa Car Rental
Full payment and deposit must be completed prior to vehicle release.
7. Deposit (Security Deposit)
A refundable security deposit is required to secure a reservation and collect a vehicle.

Minimum deposit: €250
-
Deposit amounts vary depending on vehicle class

Cash deposits are refunded immediately after vehicle inspection
-
Non-cash deposits are refunded within 3–5 business days
The deposit may be partially or fully withheld in case of:
-
damage
-
fines or violations
-
missing fuel
-
excessive cleaning
-
late return
-
breach of these Terms & Conditions
8. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Free Cancellation
-
Free cancellation is allowed up to 7 days before the start of the rental period.
Late Cancellation Fees
-
3–6 days before rental: 30% of total rental amount
-
Less than 72 hours before rental: 50% of total rental amount
No-Show
-
Failure to appear without notice will result in a charge equal to 100% of the first rental day.
Mansa Car Rental reserves the right to deduct applicable fees from the deposit or any prepaid amount.
9. Driver Requirements

Minimum driver age: 21 years
-
A valid driver’s license must be presented
-
Additional drivers are allowed at an additional cost and must be registered in advance
The registered renter is fully responsible for the vehicle at all times.
10. Vehicle Use & Restrictions
Vehicles may only be used for lawful purposes.
The following are not permitted without prior written approval:

Inland travel
-
Off-road use
-
Mining areas
-
Subleasing or commercial transport
-
Racing or reckless driving
Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate termination of the rental without refund.
11. Insurance & Liability
All vehicles include basic insurance.

Excess (deductible): ranges from €250 to €1000 depending on vehicle class
-
The renter remains responsible for the excess amount in case of damage or claim
Optional Additional Insurance
An optional additional insurance may be selected to reduce the excess.
This fee is fixed, non-refundable, and applies per rental.
In case of a claim, the renter remains responsible for the applicable excess payable to the insurer.
12. Fuel & Mileage

Vehicles are provided on a full-to-full fuel basis
-
Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level
Mileage limits, if applicable, will be clearly communicated during the reservation process.
Excess mileage may be charged.
13. Accidents, Damage & Theft
In the event of an accident, damage or theft, the renter must:

Notify Mansa Car Rental immediately
-
File a police report where applicable
-
Cooperate fully with insurance procedures
Failure to comply may result in full liability for damages.
14. Fines & Violations
All traffic fines, violations and penalties incurred during the rental period are the sole responsibility of the renter.
An administrative handling fee may apply for processing fines and violations.
15. Early Return & Extensions

Early returns do not entitle the renter to a refund

Rental extensions are subject to availability and must be approved in advance
-
Unauthorized late returns may result in additional charges
16. Limitation of Liability
Mansa Car Rental shall not be liable for:
-
loss of personal belongings
-
indirect or consequential damages
-
delays caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control
17. Termination
Mansa Car Rental reserves the right to terminate a rental agreement immediately in case of:
-
misuse of the vehicle
-
breach of these Terms & Conditions
-
false information provided by the renter
No refunds shall be granted in such cases.
18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Suriname.
Any disputes shall be submitted exclusively to the competent courts of Suriname.
19. Language
These Terms & Conditions are available in English and Dutch.
In case of discrepancies, the English version shall prevail.
20. Acceptance
By placing a reservation, signing a rental agreement or taking possession of a vehicle, the Customer confirms full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
